The
FISHSACK
was designed by a Michigan salmon and steelhead
fisherman to reduce the burden of transporting the
catch. Instead of the tiresome task of carrying the fish by hand with a
stringer, the fish is carried comfortably over one shoulder with the fish lengthwise down the back.
This leaves both your hands
free to carry other equipment.
The
center cinch strap easily adjusts to secure around the girth of the fish
to stabilize the fish during transport. The
top opening of the sack closes tightly to retain the catch.
A (3) foot cord is included to secure and prevent the
FISHSACK from shifting sideways during
transport, or for using the FISHSACK
as a stringer. To carry even more fish, an additional sack
can be attached to a common adjustable shoulder strap, or the second sack
can be carried by hand. The FISHSACK
is machine washable, lightweight, and can be folded for pocket storage. Disposable plastic liner bags are available
if you desire to keep the FISHSACK
clean, or to add ice for transport.
The FISHSACK original 1X version is 10" wide and 30" long and is ideal for a medium size salmon or large steelhead up to 3' long, or several smaller size fish. Capacity is approximately 15 lbs of fish. Longer fish can be carried with the tail extended out.
The FISHSACK
2X is 12" wide by 30" long and is ideal for a large salmon, or several
smaller size fish, and will carry approximately 25 lbs of fish.
The FISHSACK can be used for any similar shaped fish such as redfish, snook, bonefish, striped bass, seatrout, grouper, mackeral, pike, walleye, catfish, etc. The FISHSACK also can carry many smaller catch such as perch and bluegill. The FISHSACK can be used effectively to secure and string the catch while kayak fishing.
The FISHSACK is constructed of a durable waterproof ripstop nylon to keep the fisherman's back dry. The medium weight polyester mesh front allows the catch to cool and the FISHSACK to be used as a stringer. A disposable plastic liner insert bag is available for those who want to keep their FISHSACK clean, or even add ice to cool the fish.
The FISHSACK was designed to be as lightweight as possible allowing it to be easily folded for small pocket storage. After use, it can be cleaned with a garden hose, or even machine washed.
